| SO I'm working in Montreal this week. While it's a really nice city, it's not very much fun to go sightseeing by yourself. Especially at night in an unfamiliar city. We have to work all day, so when we get off work, it's quite dark. Plus, my travel buddy isn't the greatest. I mean, he drinks warm milk for dinner. It was so funny, I had noticed that he had purchased a rather large container of coffee creamer at the grocery store Sunday night. Granted that french is the primary language here in Montreal, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it was creamer. Anyway, he came in yesterday and told me that the "milk" he bought must have been old because it was quite thick when he drank it. It then registered-- he was drinking the creamer. Yuck!
Anyway, It is a really pretty city, I just wish we had seen a bit more snow. It was snowing when we flew in Sunday night and it was so pretty to see the lights of the city and the newly fallen snow, however, it all melted by Tuesday. I was supposed to fly home tonight, but they cancelled my flight due to the 'blizzard' in Atlanta. It's so ridiculous how people in Georgia freak out when there is a small prediction of snow. It's crazy! Anyway, I'm up here for another night and will take the noon flight back to Atlanta. The only good thing is that it is an actual meal flight. hehehe. Usually I just get a crappy snack = half a can of coca cola and pretzels.

| Mom and I went shopping at Lennox last night-- I had forgotten that I liked that mall so much. It wasnt crowded at all. We spent alot of our time at Crate & Barrell. Mom bought me a really neat bundt pan and a few Christmas Candles. I also bought several metal candlesticks, a new sweater, candles, and a few Christmas Decorations. So much fun! I wish i had a bottomless checking account--- then I'd really be set. | | |
| When you were in high school and college, did you ever say to yourself, "I'll be glad when people grow up."??? Well, guess what? I dont think they ever do. Humans are just pathetic. I'm learning as I get older that people never really "grow up" and act mature. I feel like I'm in High School still, except it's worse because it's adults.
